Our specialty is tending to the individual needs of the physically challenged diver who requires adaptive training including those who are wheelchair mobile. We provide each adaptive diver with specialized individual training, custom fitted fabricated adaptive equipment and under-water video taping for self-evaluation.

In a world of 7 billion people, approximately a billion individuals live with disabilities. These range from developmental impairments to profound physical disabilities that require the use of wheelchairs and other devices to live on a day-to-day basis.

The combination of physical limitations, psychological adjustment to living with a disability, and lack of community understanding and resources have a profound impact in how persons with disabilities view themselves and their capacity to live enriched meaningful lives.

For untold numbers of people around the globe, Adaptive SCUBA Diving allows them to experience a world of freedom and independence without the restraints of gravity.

In recent years, we have embraced the military veterans (men and women) who have valiantly served our country and have suffered physical injuries and emotional trauma (PTSD) which have negatively impacted the quality of their lives.
Engaged in this active sport, adaptive divers can enjoy a spirit of camaraderie, and the immeasurable benefits of mental, emotional and physical well-being. Escaping physical confines and restrictions, these individuals are able to continue living life on their own terms; through their own talents; and through a drive fueled by personal determination and the encouragement of others.

Making the most of the life you have!

In the past two years we have had the unique opportunity and challenge of training "Chrissy"  the first (in the world) female quadruple amputee to swim independently on SCUBA !  The word quickly spread among the amputee community and we soon found ourselves working with "Beth" who is also a quadruple amputee showed up one day at the pool saying "I've got this new body and I need to figure out what I can do with it!"  Beth's desire and passion to live as fully as possible was evident.  Beth has become the (in the world) second female quad amputee able to swim independently on SCUBA!  We are so very excited for and proud of these incredible women!

Meet Chrissy...   the first female quad amputee in the World on independent SCUBA!!!

In 2013 Chrissy developed a blood disease which required her doctors to amputate both hands and lower legs to save her life!

Chrissy came to us wanting to see if she could do SCUBA and well... we took on the challenge!
Meet Beth ... ONLY the SECOND quad amputee in the World on independent SCUBA!!!

In 2016, Beth became ill after giving mouth to mouth resuscitation at the scene of an accident. The infection that attacked her body nearly killed her.  To save her life the Doctors had to amputate both hands, her lower left leg and part of her right foot.. but her spirit to live was so strong she not only survived but began looking for ways to improve the quality of her life and finding ways to make each day count.
